Refractory Mortar

Overview
Refractory Mortar is a high-quality heat-resistant bonding material used to joint, patch, and repair refractory bricks and monolithic linings in furnaces, kilns, boilers, and incinerators. It ensures strong adhesion, gas-tight joints, and high-temperature stability, providing a seamless bond between refractory components.
Formulated using high-purity refractory aggregates, binders, and special additives, our refractory mortar offers excellent thermal resistance, low shrinkage, and chemical stability — ensuring long-lasting performance under extreme service conditions.
Key Features
- High Temperature Resistance – withstands up to 1800°C (depending on grade)
- Excellent Bond Strength with fireclay and high alumina bricks
- Low Shrinkage – prevents cracking during heating and cooling cycles
- Good Plasticity & Workability – easy to apply with trowel or brush
- Chemical & Thermal Shock Resistant
- Air-Setting or Heat-Setting Grades Available
- Ideal for both new installations and repairs
Types of Refractory Mortar
- Fireclay Mortar (30–45% Al₂O₃): For general-purpose brickwork in boilers, kilns, and furnaces.
- High Alumina Mortar (50–90% Al₂O₃): For high-temperature and abrasion-resistant applications.
- Silica Mortar: For coke ovens, glass furnaces, and acid-resistant environments.
- Magnesia-Based Mortar: For basic refractory applications in steel and non-ferrous industries.
